The Grey Highlands' South Grey Museum is a purpose -built facility which opened in 1974, hosts a community history collection

The museum is located in Flesherton beside the village's Memorial Park, offering a visitor information centre for newcomers to the area with a welcoming atmosphere and assistance to find their own stories and adventures in the community. The local Flesherton-Markdale Royal Canadian Legion Branch 333 hosts a community Remembrance Day Service for the village every year at the local cenotaph.
School groups and special interest groups are welcome to attend the museum for a small admission price. Local organizations like Heritage Grey Highlands hold their meetings at the museum.
