Flesherton is known as the hub of Grey County with a travel time of 40 minutes to many major centre’s such as Owen Sound, Hanover, Mount Forest, Orangeville, Collingwood and Stayner. Brampton is only 65 minutes away and Barrie is a 55 minute drive.

Grey County is noted as the highest major point of land in Ontario. It has excellent fresh air with very limited amounts of acid rain. This creates very beautiful forest, great fishing in all streams and lakes, excellent gardens for both vegetables and flowers and of course superb overall health.

People in Grey County are very friendly and extremely helpful as neighbors when help is required. Many people living here are descendants of the original settlers and they form excellent relationships with new arrivals who provide a large amount of income to supplement earnings by building everything from houses to laneways.
